"Hidey Ho Good Neighbor"

In this weeks message, Pastor Jon Long takes us through the parable of The Good Samaritan (Luke 10: 25-37) to help us in understanding who our Neighbor is and how God calls us to Witness to them in our everyday lives. In all things, our primary goal as Followers of Christ is to be a loving witness to all the world so that they may find their salvation through our Lord, Jesus Christ.

In Jesus' Name, AMEN!

Today's sermon title is "Are We Planting for Jesus?" Through The Parable of the Sower, Jesus explained that we must be prepared to hear His word. In the same way, we that plant the seeds of His word, must also be open to preparing the hearts (soil) of those that will be hearing it. If you want to have good crops, you prepare the ground with tilling and adding nutrients. If you want to grow in Faith in Christ, you must confess your sins and really give your life to Him daily. It is not enough to hear the word, it must be lived out. Prepare your heart and truly listen with an open mind, allowing The Holy Spirit into every area of your mind, soul and life.

Today's Sermon is "I am Ready to Meet Jesus?" The question for all of is; Are you ready to meet Jesus? The only guarantee we have of being on this earth alive is right now. Tomorrow is not a promise. Are you ready? Everyone is appointed once to die and that day will come for us all. Are you ready? After death is eternity, either in Heaven with Jesus where there is no pain, no sorrow or in Hell where there is nothing but pain and sorrow for eternity. Are you ready to meet Jesus? When the disciples met Jesus on the road to Emmaus, they did not recognize Him until He broke bread with them. You cannot find what you are not looking for. Jesus is alive. His presence is all around us. Are you looking for Him today? Romans 10:9 If you declare with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord" and believe in your heart the God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Do you believe? Is He Lord? Are you ready?
