A Global Methodist Church
We are now having services inside the sanctuary on Sunday mornings at 10:00 AM. You can also find our current sermon video below. We pray that the sermon will be encouraging to you. The service is also recorded and the online messages are uploaded on Sunday afternoon. May you feel the love of Jesus Christ and His blessing through these messages.
Imagine what your response would be to an angel's announcement that your wife of elevated age would soon be pregnant. Imagine your response to hearing that announcement if you were that lady. Imagine your response to the angel Gabriel if you were Mary or Joseph. Would you respond like Zechariah with unbelief? Would you respond like Elizabeth with joy? The time to think about your response to serving Jesus is before you are asked. The time is now. Saying yes to an unimaginable situation situation or task requires faith in The one who controls all. God is Good and the time to trust in Him is now and always. This world needs The Good News of Jesus Christ. The world not only needs to hear about the saving Grace of His sacrifice but The Promise of His second coming. Let's be the people that say "Yes Lord, I am willing to do whatever you ask."

Today's sermon is titled "The Change is Near". This week is advent eve. As we look forward to beginning the advent season. Advent is not just a time to look forward to celebrating Christmas with our families and looking forward to seeing gifts being opened. Advent is a time to look forward to the next coming of The Lord Jesus Christ. Is the world ready? Are you ready? If not, when will you be ready? Jesus came to save the the lost not the perfect. This world desperately needs to hear this message and we are The Lord's army that is to take The Gospel Message to the world. What's holding us back? Is it worth a little embarrassment to save souls? If you saw a car on the train tracks with the driver unconscious, wouldn't you be willing to push it off? Of course, you would. It is no different with the Gospel Message. Telling the world about Jesus Christ and how He alone can save us from our sins is just as urgent. Be that messenger this advent season.
Sunday November 12th 2023 is Veteran’s Sunday. Veteran’s Sunday is a great day to show our gratitude to those that chose to serve our country. It’s a good reminder to remember that all who serve give some and some who serve quite literally gave all. There are so many reasons to be a grateful nation. Joshua 1:7-9 “Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go. Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Romans 12:1-3 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. Hebrews 13:1-6, 15-16 Keep on loving one another as brothers and sisters. Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it. Continue to remember those in prison as if you were together with them in prison, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering. Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral. Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?” Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise—the fruit of lips that openly profess his name. And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.
Today We Celebrate “All Saints Sunday,” A celebration of the Saints who have gone home before us to be with Our Lord. Just as Jesus taught the Samaritan Woman at the well, mankind is offered Eternal Life through the living water that is Jesus’ Sacrifice for us. We celebrate the legacies of our friends and loved ones, and their example for us of living a Godly life in following the example of Our Lord, Jesus Christ. We also celebrate that they are now in Heaven with him because they drank the living water that Jesus offers everyone.
This week, we also partake in Holy Communion to Remember the sacrifice of Our Lord in order for us to have salvation.
