Join us for our annual children’s Christmas program. In this hectic season, its easy to forget the true reason for Christmas. Jesus Christ came to earth to be born as a baby, heralded by angels, worshiped by lowly shepherds and kings alike while also being shunned into a barn. Take the time to be still and know that He is God.

Today’s message is “Go Where?” The Christian life is not always easy. We are called to trust God and lean not on our own understanding. Mary and Joseph were called to an impossible task and a hard journey. Mary’s journey got ever more difficult, culminating in an excruciating 90-mile journey on foot while nine months pregnant only to give birth in a dirty nasty stable. Yes, the birth of God on earth began as an unplanned pregnancy to a virgin child who believed and trusted.

All are called to follow Jesus and all are called to trust in Him. All will have trouble along the way. However, all that believe and follow Jesus Christ are indwelled with The Holy Spirit. The Kingdom is here and available to all who believe and accept this gift. Where we go is not nearly as important as who we are going with.

Romans 10: 9-10

If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.

Today's message is "Are You Out There" From the time that Isaiah prophesied about the coming of Jesus to when He was born was about 735 years. That is a very long time. Think about how long even 50 years is to you and compare that to waiting for over 700 years for a promise to be fulfilled. God's timing is perfect. He taught us to lean not on our own understanding but rather to rely on His perfect will. The good news is that Jesus did come to earth. He was born as a baby and felt all the things we do. He understands exactly what it is like to be tempted as a human and yet He died for the forgiveness of the sins for all who believe in Him.

Isaiah 55:8-9

“My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.
